English Translation
The emotional landscape is rich with longing, passion, and a hint of vulnerability, with the piano allowing the song to move between intimacy and intensity with clarity. The Greek language carries a natural weight and musicality, which here feels both lyrical and monumental, moving toward a conclusion that cannot be avoided.
Ultimately, the vocalisation captures the bittersweet nature of love, where devotion coexists with the potential for heartbreak.

Éntekhno (pronounced ['endexno], or Entechno, meaning "artful" or "art song") is a Greek music genre emerging in the late 1950s/early 1960s as a "sophisticated" form of Laïkó (popular) music that blends traditional Greek folk rhythms and melodies with Western classical orchestrations. It is characterized by poetic, often political lyrics, sophisticated arrangements, and a focus on both voice and orchestral texture.

Interaction Between Music & Lyrics
The lyrics are a direct translation of my original English poem.
This version in a grand piano style brings a sense of scale and emotional gravity to the text, expressing a foreboding of tyragedy (especially in Version 1), where contradiction takes on the weight of destiny.
As with other versions, being sung by a woman to either another woman or paraphrasing the male perspective, it transforms the contradictions in the lyrics into something deeply tragic and inevitable.
A fate that is clearly identified, but as the feelings are overpowering, can't be escaped.
