Web and multimedia work

I am competent in all stages of front-end web development from creation to maintenance and improvement including analysis of webpage statistics for Search Engine Optimisation purposes. I regularly use Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5 and image and video editors (Adobe Suite CS5.5: Fireworks, Premiere Pro; Swish) to produce videos, flash files and gif animations and adapt JavaScript, Pearl, CGI and jquery applications.

I have seamlessly intergated WordPress blogs into web sites.

My SEO skills secured about 20% of all new business in the last 9 months of my employment with Berlitz coming from the websites.

At the University of Birmingham I worked with Virtual Learning Environments (WebCT/Blackboard) and Content Management Systems (SunGard Luminis; Contensis)

I have frequently designed, authored and built full-featured, menu-driven multimedia DVDs using Adobe Encore CS5.

I have a "hands on" and "can-do" approach to optimise limited resources  and budgets.
