Web and IT Skills
Competent in all stages of front-end web development from
the creation (xhtml, html5, CSS, jquery, JavaScript, Pearl and CGI) to copywriting and maintenance, from Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to accessibility legislation compliance. Toroughly analysed web page statistics such as Google Analytics to make recommendations for future web development projects. Click here for examples of websites I designed.
In addition to creating web sites from scratch with web authoring software such as Dreamweaver CS5.5, I worked with Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) - WebCT/Blackboard - and Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Luminis SunGuard and Contensis.
I regularly use the Adobe suite of software (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Premiere Pro, Encore) to create and produce multimedia files (videos, images, flv, swf and .gif animations) and fully-featured, menu-driven DVDs - click here for examples of multimedia.
